FAQ guide about the UK nationals resident in Spain -and their family members- in relation to BREXIT

A few days ago, the Bar Association of the Balearic Islands made available to the users of its website a guide with the most frequently asked questions about Brexit, and the situation of UK citizens resident in Spain. This guide, drawn up by the Secretary of State for Migration, which is part of the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, aims to clear up any doubts that may be felt by all United Kingdom citizens resident in Spain.

Among other things, this guide clarifies issues such as the current situation regarding Brexit, the current relationship between the United Kingdom and Spain, or the different situations in which British citizens may find themselves depending on their circumstances, which are influenced by, among other factors, their date of arrival in Spain, whether or not they are covered by the Withdrawal Agreement, or whether or not they have a Certificate of Registration as a Union Citizen.

Based on these circumstances, this guide aims to assist UK citizens, their families, and third country nationals who may be covered by the withdrawal agreement, to obtain the necessary documentation to process their legal residence in Spain.
